Terms of Service

By using this site you agree to use the public materials SequenxAI itself publishes here only to learn about SequenxAI and the SequenxAI Platform (third-party data is covered by the Third-party data paragraph below). Capabilities, trial access, and deliverables are defined by written agreements. Unauthorized reverse engineering, resale, or disclosure of non-public materials is prohibited. Data in team workspaces: data uploaded in a team workspace, and the forecasts, cleaning and evaluation results produced in it ("workspace content"), are managed by the workspace rather than controlled by the individual who uploaded them. Workspace content is managed by the workspace owner and admins; where a workspace uses the Platform on behalf of an organization, the owner manages it on that organization's behalf. [Important] By default, workspace content is visible only to the person who created it and to the workspace owner and admins; to administer the workspace, the owner and admins can view, download, change and delete all workspace content, including content created by other members and former members. The creator, the owner or an admin can share an item with the workspace; once shared, every member of the workspace, including read-only members, can view, download and export it, and members other than read-only members can start new forecasts from it; the creator, the owner or an admin can stop sharing at any time. Members can change, delete or stop sharing only what they created. [Important] When a member leaves or is removed from the workspace, or deletes their account, what they created stays in the workspace and is not deleted with them, and they can no longer access it; unshared items are then accessible only to the owner and admins, shared items stay shared, and the creator is shown as "Former member". If you want to keep a copy, download or export it before you leave, as far as the workspace's rules and your arrangements with your organization allow. When the workspace is deleted, its content is deleted with it. [Important] Uploaders warrant that they are entitled to upload the data and, when they share it, to let the workspace's members use it as described here, and that the upload does not break any law or infringe anyone's personal information, trade secrets, intellectual property or other lawful rights; an uploader who breaches this warranty is liable for the resulting loss as provided by law. [Important] The workspace owner and admins are responsible for managing the workspace's members and roles, for deleting workspace content promptly once they know it is unlawful or infringing, and for making sure the workspace is used in line with these Terms. This paragraph does not change any arrangement between you and your organization or other members about who owns the data. Which call records workspace members can see is described in the Privacy Policy. Free usage in your personal space is counted per person; free usage in a team workspace counts against that workspace's shared quota (based on the number of members who can run, as shown on the page), and the two do not draw on each other.

Your data and how we process it: as between you and SequenxAI, you (and your workspace or organization) keep all rights you have by law in the data you upload and in your run results. SequenxAI stores, cleans, computes, displays and transmits that data only to provide the Platform to you; it is not used for model training and is not provided to third parties, except the cloud storage and compute providers in mainland China that we use to provide the Platform. [Important] Do not upload information that can identify a specific individual unless you or your organization has a lawful basis and has given the notices the law requires; never upload sensitive personal information (such as health, financial account, location-tracking or biometric data) or personal information of children under 14. Where uploaded data contains personal information, you or your organization is the personal information handler and SequenxAI processes it as an entrusted party, only for the purposes, in the ways and for the periods set out in these Terms: we keep it in mainland China with encryption and access controls, delete it within the periods stated in the Privacy Policy, help you respond to individuals' requests to access, copy, correct or delete their information, and notify you promptly of any actual or suspected security incident. If you need a separate data processing agreement, email contact@sequenxai.com.

Model arena test feature: the model arena is a test feature open only to individual testers and team workspaces approved by SequenxAI; it is not a generally available service. Individuals may apply for themselves; the owner or an admin of a team workspace may apply on behalf of the workspace, and once approved the workspace's owner, admins and members can run it in that workspace, while read-only members can only view results. Team workspace approvals always expire (90 days by default, at most 365 days); individual approvals may also expire. [Important] SequenxAI may revoke an approval or change or stop the feature, and will give advance notice where it reasonably can; results already produced are kept and deleted under the rules in "Data in team workspaces" above and in the Privacy Policy. Each run counts, per selected model, against the free usage of the space it runs in: your own quota in your personal space, or the workspace's shared quota in a team workspace. Results are for evaluation only and SequenxAI makes no promise about the accuracy of any model; [Important] to the extent permitted by law, SequenxAI is not liable for decisions you make in reliance on test results, except for loss caused by SequenxAI's intentional misconduct or gross negligence.

Suspension and deletion of team workspaces: SequenxAI may suspend a team workspace for breach of these Terms, abuse, security or legal reasons. While suspended, the workspace is read-only and API calls are refused. If it is still suspended 30 days after suspension, the workspace and its data are permanently deleted, in the same way as when the workspace owner deletes a workspace and its 7-day cool-off ends; deleted data cannot be recovered. We email the workspace owner 7 days and 24 hours before the scheduled deletion. If the workspace is restored before then, the deletion is cancelled. SequenxAI may extend this period (for example while an appeal is being handled). Workspaces suspended for legal reasons are not deleted automatically and are handled case by case; for suspensions for abuse or security reasons, SequenxAI may delete earlier. This paragraph does not apply to personal accounts.

Live forecast board: forecasts, intervals and scores on the board are generated automatically by SequenxAI with third-party open-weight time-series models as a technical demo. They are not official forecasts of any organization. SequenxAI gives no warranty of their accuracy, completeness or timeliness, and the data may be wrong, late or interrupted. Nothing on the board is advice for dispatch, trading, investment, travel, health, medical or any other decision; any decision you make in reliance on it is your own responsibility. To the extent permitted by law, SequenxAI is not liable for any loss arising from use of, or inability to use, the board.

Third-party data: observations on the board come from the sources named in each section and under Data sources and licences at the foot of the board, and remain under their original licences (for example the Open Database License, CC BY 4.0, the Singapore Open Data Licence and the DATA.GOV.HK Terms and Conditions); for that data, those licences prevail over these Terms. These Terms impose no additional restriction on that data and do not restrict any right you have under those licences; those source organizations are not involved in and do not endorse the board.

Platform beta and governing law: the SequenxAI Platform is in public beta and is provided as is; features may change, be interrupted or stop, and forecasts may be inaccurate, so please use your own judgement. [Important] To the extent permitted by law, SequenxAI is not liable for indirect loss arising from use of, or inability to use, the Platform beta; this limit does not apply to property loss caused by SequenxAI's intentional misconduct or gross negligence, or to personal injury. The Platform is meant for businesses and professionals. [Important] These Terms are governed by the laws of the People's Republic of China (for this purpose excluding the laws of the Hong Kong Special Administrative Region, the Macao Special Administrative Region and Taiwan); any dispute arising from them shall first be resolved by negotiation and, failing that, be brought before the competent people's court where SequenxAI is domiciled (Nanshan District, Shenzhen).
